Midthunder is born in Shiprock, New Mexico and is of the Fort Peck Assiniboine Tribe. She was originally of the Navajo Nation of Shiprock in New Mexico. After spending much of her life at Santa Fe (where she went to the Academy for Technology and the Classics and her mother worked at a casting company) after which she came home. Amber comes from an Native American family on her dad's side. They are both members of the Fort Peck Sioux Tribe. Amber's mother was adopted and so Amber is not sure of her mixed ancestry. Prey features a large number of Native American actors, such as Dakota Beavers (who is Blackfeet and Comanche) as well as Jhane Meiers who has been the director of the production for a number of years. Coco The character's animal Sarii in the film, was selected for her unique breed of dog: The American Dingo. The breed is also referred to as a Carolina Dog, is one of the oldest breeds in existence.
There is another message in all this; throughout the movie, TJ tells us how much he loves Amanda and how she is his everything (although there are parts of his narration that could be actually about the daughter, if we look at it more). He confessed his feelings towards Amanda, but she was reluctant as she was dating Daniel. Jack was later married Amanda Emily, and Emily was later able to reveal Emily's persona. They have been friends ever since. In the final episode they get wed. Amanda gets married to Wilf at the last minute. The entire prize pool was won all by yourself
